The giant measurement company Rohde & Schwarz acquired the Mainhausen firm HAMEG and promised continuity for the locations as well as for the procedures of HAMEG. For the HAMEG brand the Munich based company has a longterm strategy.
Roland Steffen, manager of the business unit Measuring Instruments and a member of the managing board of Rohde & Schwarz, was kind enough to inform us about the strategy behind the take-over and the entry into the low-price market.
