10.11.2009Newsletter Productronica 2009

Dear HAMEG Partner, We are happy to give you the following update concerning our products, which will be presented at Productronica this week:

[Not only the competition will be impressed ...] The new 250 MHz 4-Channel DSO/MSO HMO2524 looks very similar to the HMO3524 (350MHz). It offers a real time sampling rate of up to 2,5GSa/s with a memory depth of up to 4MPts. All options and accessories - incl. the logic probe HO3508 - are identical to HMO3524. The instrument can be ordered immediately and will be delivered in January 2010 in the sequence of order income.

[Analog meets Digital & Serial ...] Now you can answer the outmost raised question of our customers with YES, OUTSTANDING and for a FAVOURABLE PRICE: using the option HOO10 all oscilloscopes of the HMO Series get enable to decode I2C, SPI and UART/RS-232 as well as parallel Bus protocols in ONE package! Our customers will be impressed: based on hardware-accelerated decoding, the HMO Series is the new benchmark in data analysis and display speed in its class. Of course, this option can be used with all HMO instruments which are already on the market.

[Accessories for sophisticated DuTs ...] We have extended our oscilloscope accessories, offering probes for individual applications:

The active, single ended 1GHz probe HZO30 offers a very low input capacity of 0,9pF with an input resistance of 1MOhm, placing a minimum load burden for the circuit to be measured. Actual circuits using rise times of only a few nanoseconds often react very sensitive against capacitive loads, even at lower speeds. Expensive passive probes are no real alternative, as the DuT gets loaded by a 10-times higher input capacity. Of course the HZO30 is also applicable to spectrum analyzers. It will be ready to be shipped in January 2010.
The new current probe HZO50 (30Apeak, DC...100kHz) is the successor of the well established HZ56-2. Residual noise and battery runtime have been further improved. It is particularly suitable for analyzing signals of converters, switch mode power supplies and industrial control circuits, as well as for testing of lighting and domestic electrical installations. In the automotive sector it supports applications like quiescent current measurements on battery level and monitors switch-off behaviour of control devices that require high accuracy and excellent resolution. HZO50 is immediately available.
The new current probe HZO51 (100A/1000A, DC...20kHz) is designed for automotive applications like measurements of electric starter current even under cold-start conditions. Due to the good shielding HZO51 is as well suited for the analysis of switched signals in industrial environments and is immediately available.
The 1000:1 probe HZO20 supports detailed measurements with save contact at up to 1000Vrms up to 400MHz bandwidth. It can be ordered immediately and will be delivered in January 2010 in the sequence of order income.

Please visit us at Productronica at booth 369, in hall A1 and get inspired of the HAMEG news!

Best wishes from Mainhausen
