Rohde & Schwarz Netherlands
Rohde & Schwarz, founded in 1933 in Munich/Germany, is a worldwide renowned manufacturer of equipment for RF electronics and wireless communication. The company is build upon the main product divisions for Test & Measurement, Radio Communication, Radio Monitoring and Sound & TV Broadcasting.
The product range consists of:
Test & Measurement equipment for general LF/RF/microwave applications, Mobile Communication technologies like GSM/GPRS, UMTS/HSPA, LTE, WLAN, Bluetooth, WiMAX and Radio and TV standards like DAB, T-DMB, DVB-T/T2, ISDB-T and MediaFlow.
Transmitters for broadcasting analog and digital radio and television Radio Communication systems for military purposes, air-traffic control and private mobile networks based on Tetra Radio Monitoring systems for radio agencies and military applications.
Rohde & Schwarz Netherlands was founded in 1979 in Maarssen and moved to the current office in Nieuwegein in 1988. In the 30 years of independent operation in The Netherlands, the activities were expanded from a small sales office to a supplier of turn-key system solutions in areas of Military Radio Communication, Radio Monitoring, Broadcasting and EMC. The current organization has a stable crew of 32 employee’s incl. a major system engineering department.
In addition to the own Rohde & Schwarz products, the Netherlands subsidiary is representing various other manu-facturers like HAMEG (BRD), Advantest (JPN), DekTec (NL), Wohler (USA), Bonn Elektronik (BRD), Siepel (FR) Spinner (BRD) Crystal Instruments (USA) and Spectracom (FR/USA). This results in the possibility to offer the local customers a wide range of complementary instruments for their various applications.
The latest milestone is the introduction of a local webshop TESTENMEETWINKEL.NL in May 2009 which is especially introduced as a convenient and easy to use sales channel for basic products like the innovative new HAMEG product lines.
