HM2008: FFT (ID #628)

The FFT function of an oscilloscope is transformed from the time domain into the frequency domain. Basically, you can see, starting from the algorithm, the half of the sampling rate as the highest frequency. If 100MSa/s is scanned, you can see 50MHz as the maximum frequency in the FFT. The fineness of the resolution is depending on the set time base (the larger the time base, the finer the resolution) and depending on the number of points to be included in the FFT calculation. The HM2008 use max. 8192 points for the calculation.
