How can I measure cable loss? (ID #631)

You need a spectrum analyser with a tracking generator (like HMS1010 and HMS3010).

If the cable has an impedance of 75 ohms (e.g. RG59), you need a converter from 75 to 50 ohms for the input and a converter from 50 to 75 for the output of the tracking generator.
