Supported Windows Versions (ID #651)

HAMEG Software is developed to run under Windows XP^® and at least in the compatibility mode also Windows VISTA^® and Windows 7^®.

There are different interfaces (depending on the instrument and option) for remote control available.

1. RS-232 (f.e. Interface HO720):

Does not need any driver install and support all Windows^® versions.

2. Ethernet / LAN (Interface HO730):

Does not need any driver install and support all Windows^® versions.

3. USB interface HO720 / 730:

Does need driver install. The driver can be downloaded for free in the download area of our website. This driver does support all Windows^® versions.

4. USB interface HO820 / 870:

Does need driver install. The driver can be downloaded for free in the download area of our website. This driver currently supports all 32 Bit Windows^® versions. The 64-bit versions of Windows Vista^® and Windows 7^® are currently not supported.
