Comment of HAMEG Instruments GmbH on the German law "ElektroG" resp. the European RoHS/WEEE law
The "German law concerning the selling, the taking back and the environmentally correct disposal of electric and electronic apparatus (Elektro- und Elektronikgerätegesetz - ElektroG of 16 March 2005) as proclaimed in the Bundesgesetzblatt Part I, No. 17 of 23 March 2005, page 762) contains certain demands on manufacturers of such apparatus.
The HAMEG Instruments GmbH duly registered on 23 Nov. 2005 with the body "Stiftung Elektro-Altgeräte-Register (EAR)" and received the WEEE registration number DE12659664.
All products of HAMEG instruments GmbH fulfill the requirements of the EU directives 2002/96/EG (Electric and electronic apparatus disposal) and 2002/95/EG (RohS = Restriction of Use of certain Hazardous
Substances). All products are marked accordingly since January 2006.
